Recently at Criteria Studios, Orlando based Sister Hazel stopped in for a few days. Producer/engineer Paul Ebersold was the guiding hand behind the bands contribution to an Atlantic Records Fleetwood Mac tribute LP. The tracks were cut in the NEVE 8078 equipped Studio A, directly adjacent to the room (Studio C) where the landmark "Rumors" was recorded in part. Criteria staffer Chris Carroll provided assistance. Bad boys Capone -n- Noreaga completed overdubs for their upcoming TommyBoy/Penalty Recordings release. Co-producer Martin Moore joined engineer Scott Kieklak and assistant Kieran Wagner. Ziggy Marley & the Melody Makers recently spent some time at Criteria working on a new Cover Girls ad campaign. The Proctor & Gamble spots were produced based Grey Advertising. Composer Tony Mangarion joined Greys' Lisa Bare to oversee the festivities. Engineer Michael Couzzi and assistant AJ Bosco rounded out the bodies in the control room. As filming continued on the Twentieth Century Fox feature "Something About Mary", recording for the soundtrack also progressed. Featured artist Jonathan Harris continued work with a remake of "Fill Me Up Buttercup". The sessions were engineered by Dennis Hetzendorfer with assistance from Mark Dobson. Local artist and Criteria project Amanda Green began cutting tracks for Interscope Records. Producer/engineer Caleb Southern (Ben Folds Five) was at the helm. They were assisted by Steve Harper. Local projects continued, among them were Diane Ward, Mary Karlzen, Eric Knight Band, Nightwing and Sixo.
