This month at Criteria Recording Studios in Miami, projects include legendary Argentinean rocker Charly Garcia. The self produced project for Sony Music International completed basic tracks. Overdubs continued in Criteria’s new Augspurger/Api Legacy room. The 48 track digital project was engineered by Max Miligin with assistance from Leo Hererra and Luly Deya. Multi-platinum artists Collective Soul returned to Criteria to begin production on their fourth record. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Ed Roland added the title of producer for their most recent offering. Criteria staffer Chris Carroll joined Roland behind the vintage Neve 8078. The prolific Marley clan continued it’s contribution to the musical world with brother Richard Marley Booker. Executive producer Neil Axelrod oversaw the upcoming release. Engineer Karl Peterson was assisted by Kieran Wagner. Other projects include 2 Live Crew final mixes with engineer Ted Stein and Christine Tramontano. Producer Roberto Livi recently completed work on female vocal trio "Salero". The project was mixed by engineer Mike Couzzi with assistance from AJ Bosco. Dominican pop star Juan Luis Guerra continued production on his next release for Karen Records. Engineers mike Couzzi and Eric Schilling joined talents to ride out the storm. Assistant Scott Kieklak joined the bodies at the board. Fonovisa artists’ Mechano recently completed mixes for their next album. Engineer Ron Taylor teamed with producers Jorge Alvarez and Alex Soler for the project. They were assisted by Kieran Wagner. On a local note production creeped along on the Diane Ward and Eric Knight Band projects.
