Recently in sunny South Florida, legendary rock act AEROSMITH began cutting live tracks for their forthcoming record on Colombia. Grammy award winning producer/writer Glen Ballard was at the reins. Engineers Chris Fogel and Francis Buckley were joined by staffer Keith Rose to round out the team. Venezuelan heartthrob Jose Luis Rodriguez continued work on his next Sony Music International release. Bebu Silvetti produced with Carlos Nieto engineering and assistance from Mark Dobson. Swedish metal monster Yngwie Malmsteen, recently completed production on his next offering for Pony Canyon Records. Malmsteen co-produced with engineer Chris Tsangarides. Paul Gordon and Keith Rose assisted the dates. Country veterans The Bellamy Brothers, just finished mixing their most recent project. David Bellamy produced with engineer Ron Taylor. They were assisterd by Chris Carroll. Local projects continued to round out Criteria’s schedule. This included this month were Amanda Green, Purple Mustard (working on some live stuff), Drop, Tommy Anthony and the Pikan Band.
