This month at Criteria, dance icons K.C. & The Sunshine Band returned to the scene of their former glory. KC teamed with producer Stefan Galfas for their debut Tommy Boy release. Production manager/engineer Rick Raymond and assistant Scott Kieklak camped out behind the board. South Florida based shock-rockers Jack Off Jill slammed out their first national release for RISK Records. Producer Don Fleming (Sonic Youth, Hole, Dinosaur Jr.) and engineer Bill Emmon manned the controls. They were assisted by Christopher Spahr. In Criteria’s Studio D, legendary producer (Everybody) Tom Dowd mixed the upcoming release from The Goods. Neal Avron (Everclear) pushed the buttons with assistance from Mark Dobson.
