At Criteria Recording Studios, Atlantic recording artists Mars Electric continued work on their debut release. Producer/Engineer (MatchBox 20,Collective Soul) Greg Archilla manned the API Legacy in the newly opened George Augspurger room. They were assisted by staffer Kieran Wagner. Recently, Stephen Marley stopped by to continue work on a duets/remix project featuring legendary father Bob. The Polygram/Island project saw Stephen handling production chores with Alfred Bosco engineering. The 48 track digital sessions utilized old masters to import the late reggae icons’ vocal parts. Dominican vocalist Juan Luis Guerra continued mixing in the SSL4096G+ equipped Studio B. Guerra produced the 48 track dates, while engineer Eric Schilling guided the ship. They were assisted by Christine Tramantano and Scott Kieklak. Lil' Joe recording artists 2 Live Crew returned to the site of their platinum successes for work on their new single "Party". Joining them for alternate versions of the mixes were members of the 666 Mafia. The dates were produced by the band with label principal Joe Weinberger. Ray Seay engineered with assistance from Alfred Bosco.
