Ska Punk band Less Than Jake cranked out basics for their first release on Capitol Records. Michael Rosen handled both the production and engineering duties with assistance from Chris Carroll. Recently at Criteria Studios engineer Francis Buckley completed remixes for the upcoming film Pinnochio. The Stevie Wonder tracks were produced for Cherry Lane Music utilizing both the Studio D827 48 TK digital machine and Criteria’s SSL 4096G+ equipped Studio B. They were assisted by Chris Carroll. Looking to add to their list of record-breaking success, The Bee Gees returned to Criteria to complete some mixes for their upcoming LP. The Gibbs joined forces with veteran platinum producer/engineer Hugh Padgham. They were assisted by John Merchant and Chris Carroll.On a more local note, work finished up on the Amanda Green project. Heaving a sigh of relief were producers Joel Levy, Rich Uloa and engineers Keith Rose and Scooby Spahr. Rose also found himself cutting tracks for local jazzers Sha-Shaty. Leader Joe Shashaty produced with band member Hal Roland. Sister Madly also camped out for 5 songs in various rooms. Rose again handled the board with assistance from Rob "The Annihilator" Valdez.
