Atlantic Recording artist Mary Karlzen recently took time off the road to return home for some more recording. Fresh off her release of her most recent LP "Yelling At Mary", Karlzen camped out at Criteria to record two songs for a Christmas compilation release. The dates were produced by Karlzen and engineered by Ron Taylor. West Coast Based Chicago-Pacific Entertainment wrapped up recording portions of the soundtrack for upcoming the feature film "Steal Little; Steal Big". The Latin Jazz flavored tracks saw the input of some heavyweight players including, Israel "Chacho" Lopez, Arturo Sandoval and Paqito D’Rivera. The sessions were overseen by Andy Garcia and Robbie Scharf. Engineer Eric Schilling kept the vintage NEVE/Dolby SR tracking sessions flowing. They were assisted by Keith Rose. Country crooners, The Bellamy Brothers stopped by to remix a couple of songs for dance air play. Writer, player and engineer Ron Taylor Pianist Enrique Chia joined longtime engineer Dennis Hetzendorfer in Criteria’s SSL equipped Studio E cutting tracks for his most recent offering. Chris Carroll assisted. Sony Music International Artists Donato & Estefano completed mixing for the Portuguese release of their current LP. Fernando Adour produced with engineer Carlos Alvarez. They were assisted by Steve Robillard. Miami based success story Arlan continued work on his debut project for Island Records. Legendary producer Tom Dowd joined engineer Cesar Sogbe for the guitar and vocal work. They were assisted by Mark Dobson. Inching ever so close to a major label signing, MANCHILD continued cranking out quality demos with engineer Mark Gruber. Likewise, work continued on yet another project by The Goods. Keith Rose and Joel Levy oversaw the dates.
