Atlantic recording artists’ The Quad City DJ’s blew into town recently to complete some mixes. Jay Mc Gowan handled the production chores with engineer Joe Smith and assistant Chris Carroll. Working on their Warner Brothers debut offering, Cool For August and producer Matt Serletic (Collective Soul) spent a couple of months locked in Criteria's Studio A (NEVE 8078). Accompanying them were engineer Jeff Tomei and assistant Mark Dobson. KC and the Sunshine Band recently completed mixes for an upcoming special on VH-1 television. The live shows were recorded on site at Disney’s Pleasure Island over a two night period. The lock to video sessions were producer by KC and engineered by Greg Schwabee, Chris Carroll and Steve Robillard. Death Metal act Six Feet Under recently completed tracks for it’s first EP on MetalBlade Records. Label president Brian Schlagel produced with LA based engineer Bill Metoyer. They were assisted by Chris Carroll Tampa based Conquest Music sent Monstrosity to Miami to remix their latest project. Band members Lee Harrison & Jason Morgan teamed with engineer Keith Rose on the mixing. They were assisted by Scott Kieklak. Work continues on the upcoming release from Sha-Shaty. Producing the new disc is Hal Roland with Keith Rose engineering and Paul Gordon assisting. Mary Karlzen has wrapped up two new songs for a single. Rich Ulloa and Mary produced.
