Some of activity this month at Criteria Recording Studios includes work for an upcoming motion picture documenting the life of Muhammad Ali entitled "When we were Kings". Work on the soundtrack featured vocalists Brian Mc Knight and Dianna King. The Polygram sessions were produced by Andy Marvol. Mike Couzzi engineered with assistance from Chris Carroll. Also at Criteria producer Bebu Selveti oversaw the recording of basic tracks and several 40 piece string dates for noted tenor Placido Domingo. Joel Numa engineered and assistants Chris Carroll & Chris Spahr split time behind the board. Miami based L’il Joe Records completed production on the forthcoming release from RuffTown Mob. Producer Mike Fresh and engineer Ted Stein pushed the buttons. Criteria staffer Scott Kieklak ran crowd control. Local projects continued to fill out the schedule. Artists include: Mary Karlzen, Yellow 77, Rody Alexander, Zen Dog, Amanda Green, JoLynn Daniel, Love Canal, Javier, Susie Creamcheese, and Lyme.
